Screw-In

Just wanted to let yall know that Mike, Bill, and myself have been working on a small fleet of 1/12th scale warbirds outfitted with .25s and .36 with pipes of course.  They fly real fast like a delta and we are having a blast.

We would love to have anyone else who wants to come and play.  Robert G. has an aircobra I'm going to try and re-finish in an Italian Scheme, and I'm in the middle of trying to get this darn Shinden to fly.  I've also started construction of a 1/12 Blom & Voss BV237 with a Weber .36 and pipe.

Macs fly-In is comming soon.

Hey StickKiller!  I got a problem.  I can access, login, and post here from seemingly any computer except the one at my house.

When I pull up the flight forum from home, I cannot read any thread.  When I attempt to login, it sends me to the Website Toolbox Home.

I got tons of pics on my PC at home but it cannot post them.

Help!

Are those the same ones you guys were screaming around at the spring fly in or are they new ones?

Yes!  But we are adding a few to the fleet.  At the spring fly-in, we had an Me-109 w/t an o.s 25fx piped, a F4-U Corsair with same power, and a Swedish Thun with same power.  All are Stien Models from CZ.

Since then, Bill, scratch built a Buffalo, which crashed but is being re-built (Stability issues), I scratch built a Japanse Shinden with crashed (Launching issues and project abandoned), Mike put together his other Stien model ME209.  It too crashed and is being re-built (TT36 with tuned pipe....Mike says it flew faster than anything he has flown before and flew so fast it lost the horizontal thus resulting in the crash.

Since I abandoned the Shinden, I have been working hard on scratch building a Blomm & Voss BV237, and refinishing Robert G Aircobra.  We hope to have all ready by the Fall Fly-in.

Mike is also trying to aquire from a Distibutor in the UK more Stien Models.

Zach the webmaster will have to do that. He controls all that stuff.

We're just trying to create a mini air force to take those darned alien deltas.  Just kidding...  These things are fun to fly and scratch any scale itches you might have too.  Bill has three projects going on right now.  repairing the ME-209 that crashed.  Damage was surprisingly low probably because of the fiberglass fuselage.  That project should be done next week.  It will have a .25 this time.  Brewster Buffalo that died from radio failure.  May or may not be ready by Fly-In.  And the Grumman Skyrocket.  Might be ready by Fly-In.

Hope to see you guys there!
